Precious moments

It was tough not being home for Christmas this year and seeing all of our friends (and I mean that in the most pathetically truthful way possible, since alas, we have yet to make any friends here. Oh wait, that's not entirely true: Dave does occasionally go biking with a 55 year old named Hans, so I guess that counts) and family. However, we had to make do with what we had. Here are some pics documenting the past few days.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

I've taken a lot of heat over the past several years for a certain picture that has hung faithfully on the Holmes' walls (heat-givers, you know who you are). I decided it was high time for its sequel.

Maybe there will be a sequel to this one in a couple years as well... I sure hope so.

The sounds of this blessed recorder below have yet to stop ringing throughout our home. Both Lucy and Linda do a surprisingly lovely rendition of Jingle Bells.

I remember having a recorder that looked just like that. Ah, the memories of torturing everyone with my rendition of Downtown. I hated music class. I really, really hated music class.

Merry Christmas, sis.

Cute pics!! Todd has an interview in San Diego on Monday with the possibility of moving there this Summer. Todd was wondering what the housing costs were like. Basically, he was wondering if you guys have any contacts down there or what it takes to get into student housing. It will be the determining factor if he gets into the program there for next year. Otherwise, we know that the cost of living is incredibly high and could otherwise probably not do it. Anyways, if you get a second to think about it and get back to Todd's secretary (which I love being), that would be great. Hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas! Talk to you soon, Lyndsay

Hey Liz, I'm an old friend of Dave. Please tell him I say hi! He should know me by Natalie Bernhisel, but now I'm Natalie Robinson. We grew up in the same neighborhood together. So much fun we would have. I came across your blog and thought I would say hi! Your girls are so darling. Take care!

Liz, when is a god time to come to Guatamala? We are going to surprise my dad with a cruise and will be gone the end of may, beginning of june, and todd doesnt start until sometime in july. is that a god time of year? what is the air fair usually like? If we can figure out a way to make money, we would love to come over before todd starts. it would be so fun to see you guys.
